From absolute meaninglessness to entrepreneur & consultant
The question of the why of life has actually been on my mind from time to time since I was a child. But when you look for answers, you usually don't get any comprehensible answers. It seems as if we are used to always having answers to everything external, but when we look inside, opacity is generally accepted and in some cultures we often just have to swallow rules and commandments. When I was suddenly catapulted from the driver's seat of life to the back seat in a serious motorcycle accident that was not my fault, in the prime of my youth, I have devoted my undivided attention to this question to this day. There was no turning back. I wanted to know everything. What drives people? Why do some people succeed at everything but others seem to go around in circles?
I started with psychology, but that was usually only enough to enable me to function in society. Then came philosophy, which appealed to me more, but where the variety and lack of implementability created confusion rather than energy and joy in life. During a difficult phase in my life, it became clear to me, literally in a flash, that all the solutions we were looking for were already within us. That we create our own lives every second of our lives. Of course, this isn't necessarily new knowledge for some people - but experiencing it is something completely different. And then... you suddenly feel alone... with immense clarity and oppressive compassion, because unfortunately not everyone can experience this and too often ruin their own lives.
After a few detours and my initial reluctance, I met a Danish Buddhist teacher who seemed to speak from the heart and who was not at all impressed by his unwavering strength. He was completely different from what you would imagine Buddhist teachers to be. He didn't wear robes, was strong, authentically fearless and up for any fun. He had realized what I had experienced in part: fearlessness, joy and unbridled compassion. He gave me the name Lion of Realization.
Through study and practice with him and the brightest minds in the world, I have managed to acquire knowledge and experience that go far beyond my original ideas. I have learned methods that can literally resolve difficult situations with the snap of a finger, with which anything can be achieved with ease and how to be a rock in the surf in the most difficult of times. I have developed from my original sense of complete futility into an independent personality, entrepreneur and top consultant in the industry.
I could live happily and contentedly...but accumulated knowledge and experience also brings with it a responsibility. The responsibility to pass on your own knowledge to capable people. In a changing time, where things that were once taken for granted seem to be dissolving and the challenges are not getting any less, forward-looking and active leaders are immensely important. With the hope that a clear, strong and responsible management level will develop, I do my work every day with great joy.
Today I am able to pass on my experiences and knowledge in 6 countries.
